Biophysics of Hair Cell Sensory Systems - Proceedings of the International Symposium

The last decade revealed to auditory researchers that hair cells can not only detect and process mechanical energy, but are also able to produce it. Thanks to the active hair cell, ears can produce otoacoustic emissions.
