After a biographical essay, Part 2 of this book gathers Wulffs letters from the Gold Coast of Africa (now known as Ghana). The letters shed light on social and political events and forces in the region, especially European communities on the Gold Coast and African-European relations. The book includes color photos of places, plus historical illustrations and maps, and was originally published by the Department of History, Norwegian University of Science & Technology, in 2004.
